Therapy/Interventions Services
Our team of experts offers a range of therapy and interventions. We offer services to all ages through office based and home-based interventions. While office based therapy is appropriate for some individuals we have found that learning skills in the natural setting such as your home, school orplace of work can result in further positive outcomes. We have a team of field therapists and clinicians that are willing to work in all types of settings to ensure skills are being learned and applied in the setting most applicable. Our diverse team offers expertise in working with special population groups such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Mental Illness, Learning Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities, and First Nations.
Child – (Behaviour Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
To assist children with a range of social-emotional issues. We specialize in behavioural strategies to increase positive, adaptive behaviours through skill development. We specialize in working with children with learning disabilities and other developmental disabilities.
Adolescent – (Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
To assist adolescents with a range of social-emotional issues. We offer a number of specialized services in areas such as: trauma, sexual orientation and gender identity, substance use, legal issues or at risk behaviours.
Adult – (Behavioural and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
To address a wide range of concerns from social-emotional difficulties to legal issues. Through office based therapy to home-based interventions, our team is able to provide services in a manner that best suits the situation. We also provide treatment for a range of psychological conditions with group and individual sessions to address a range of concerns. We also have a specialized team that provides treatment for sexual offending, trauma, at risk behaviours, and other legal issues.
Family – (Behaviour and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy)
Working with families to identifying specific distortions (using cognitive assessment) and biases in thinking and provides strategies to increase positive, adaptive behaviours through skill development.
